Ha! ha! it’s not a disease it’s a passion 🙂 But I do think that creative people are not as rigorous in their tidiness as others who are not so creative shall we say! It takes all-sorts, so tolerance and compromise are two of my favourite words!
That looks about right when it comes to a work surface – more work than surface!!! My biggest problem is that I am never happy playing in one medium. Scrapbooking usually leads me to getting my sewing machine out, sewing leads to clay buttons, clay leads to mineral pigments, minerals lead to paint and suddenly I have an explosion of creativity in front, behind, and all round me.
Ha! ha! I know what you mean although my creativity spreads only to papercraft and sewing. I’ve had to put my sewing machine away for a while although I will retrieve it when I want to add some stitching to my pages. I want a log cabin in the garden but not allowed 🙂
Thanks! I sent a copy of this post to my husband to prove that papercrafting is endemic with messy tables 😀
