Oh my goodness, Dr Seuss. What more can I say? I remember voraciously reading Dr Seuss when I was young. Dr Seuss is something you either “get” or you don’t at that age and for whatever reason I “got” him.

I loved his books and even now I could sit and read his lyrical analysis of life all day if I had the time.

Here is just one of his passages which has particular resonance for me and some of my Bestest friends-the REACH Girls 🙂

You have brains in your head.

You have feet in your shoes.

You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.

You;re on your own. And you know

what you know. And YOU are the guy (girl) who’ll decide
