“Khoda hafez ” (Goodbye) February, “Salam” (Hello) March

The March wind roars
Like a lion in the sky,
and makes us shiver
As he passes by.

When winds are soft,
And the days are warm and clear,
Just like a gentle lamb,
Then spring is here.

February was always going to pass by quickly with so  much going on and all well documented here in my Blog. My visit to Iran was the highlight of the month, took up two whole weeks of February and so produced plenty of raw material to continue my commitment to Postaday2011.

March is looking equally hectic but for different reasons. Bristol, London and Southampton will be lucky enough to get the benefit of my presence this month so plenty of travelling on the horizon. I’m looking forward to all three visits and getting back into routine.

March 20/21 also brings the Iranian New Year-Now Ruz- which we will celebrate in traditional style and I also believe that Mother’s Day falls this month too-I hope you are reading Will!

March is also when I start my new therapy sessions in an attempt to clear my head of noise and rubbish which I just cannot shake off by my normal coping strategies. It is also when I commence my Heroine’s Challenge in conjunction with Aspire.

The highlight I suspect however will be the Depression Awareness Event-Lifting The Lid on Depression held in Canary Wharf hosted jointly by KPMG & Citigroup. This is a groundbreaking event and we have some great panelists for the seminar; Emer O’Neill, Chief Exec of the Depresion Alliance, Professor Chris Thompson, Chief Medical Officer for The Priory Clinics and Jonathan Naess, Director of the charity Stand To Reason. I will be speaking as will my counter-part from Citi, Glen Hickman.

I’m sure that there will be plenty of other things going on but that’s enough to be going on with! I’m looking forward to saying Goodbye March and Hello April with the longer days and garden starting to take shape.

Have a good one all!
